Continuum is a premium silver alloy with over 95% precious metal and contains NO NICKEL which makes it a great option for those who like silver but have nickel allergies. It looks like normal sterling but with some properties of 14K white gold or platinum at a fraction of the cost, because of its resistance to tarnish and oxidation as well as its hardness–the hardest sterling silver in the industry. It is European-friendly (again, contains no nickel) is Grade 1 bright white metal (No rhodium plating required) and is Oxidation/tarnish resistant.
THE DARKENING IS A CHEMICAL PATINA AND WILL WEAR OFF QUITE FAST. BUT IT LEAVES A NICE LOOKING WEAR PATINA OVER TIME.
