FAQ'S & Care Guide

WHATS THE WAIT TIME?

I typically aim for a 1–2 week turnaround if materials are in hand, but depending on the style, materials availability and my current workload, it can take up to 4 weeks or more. Timelines shift seasonally (and sometimes monthly), so if you need your piece by a certain date, just reach out before ordering—I’ll let you know what’s possible. I don’t miss deadlines.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY

Every ring is individually handcrafted, made to order, and designed around unique materials and personal details. Because each piece is one-of-a-kind:

  • 48-Hour Cancellation Window: Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. After this grace period, materials are sourced, production begins, and cancellations are no longer possible.

  • Final Sale: After 48 hours, all orders are final and cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.

  • I stand fully behind my craftsmanship. If there is ever an issue with workmanship or structural integrity, i will work with you to resolve it.

  • Normal variations in color, texture, and finish are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.

HOW DOES SIZING WORK?

It’s up to you to order the right size—I can’t guess your finger from here.
Good news: getting your size is easy. You can pop into a jewelry store (even Walmart can help), use an online guide to measure at home, or grab a ring sizer on Amazon for a few bucks. I used to offer ring sizers but amazon is much faster. Just a heads-up: wider rings can feel snugger, so make sure you’re measuring with that in mind. A little effort now saves a lot of hassle later!

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REMOVE OR CLEAN MY RING

Everyone’s different. Some people barely sweat, others could rust a wrench. What you eat, the kind of work you do, even your body chemistry—all of it affects how your ring ages.

That’s why I don’t recommend wearing resin or hybrid rings 24/7.
Take it off at night, and any time you’re:

  • Working out or sweating heavily

  • Around salt, chlorinated water, or chemicals for extended periods — even something as simple as Dawn Power Wash can leave marks if left on resin too long (it contains alcohol)

  • Doing hands-on work that traps heat or moisture

Even a day at the beach is rougher on your skin and your ring than you’d imagine. Sweat, salt, and friction all add up over time. Letting your ring dry and breathe keeps it looking clean and healthy.

Sweat and salt can slowly break down the surface and dull the finish and even deteriorate even the best clear coats over time. Letting the ring dry and breathe gives it a longer, healthier life.

Cleaning: I don’t know what your ring’s been through today, so use your best judgment. Stick to non-acidic soaps — a quick wash in the sink by hand with a mild hand soap is all it needs.

Bottom line: It’s a good habit to remove any ring daily no matter what it's made out of. A lot goes on under there that we can’t see with the naked eye, and it’s just good practice to keep it clean and clear of bacteria buildup.

P.S. Please know — I can usually tell when a ring’s been misused or mistreated. I’ve been doing this long enough to know what causes damage. That being said, I’ll still help fix it — just don’t come at me placing the blame. I’m way cool and only want the best for my clients, but it has to go both ways in these situations.
